Method 1: Post from the Main Dashboard

This is the most direct way if you’re already on the homepage after logging in.

Step 1: Click the “Create” Button

• On the top of the left sidebar, you’ll see a “+ Create” button.

• Click it to begin your post.
  
  

  

  
  

Step 2: Choose “Post in a Channel”

• A small menu will pop up.

• You’ll notice you can’t post to the main feed - because it’s reserved only for announcements.

• So, click “Post in a Channel” to proceed.
  
  

  

  
  

Step 3: Select Your Channel

• A popup window appears where you can create your post.

• Use the dropdown menu at the top to choose the channel where your video belongs.
  
  
  

  

  
  
  

  

  
  

Step 4: Add Your Content

• Use the text box to type out your thoughts - add context, a caption, or any notes for the community.

• Then, upload your video by clicking the video button below. You can also share voice notes and other media using the other buttons displayed.
  
  

  

Step 5: Hit “Publish”

• Once your post is ready, click “Publish”.

• Your video will be live in the selected channel, visible to the whole community.
  
  

Method 2: Post from Inside a Channel

This is helpful when you’re already browsing or engaging within a specific channel.

Step 1: Navigate to the Right Channel

• Use the left sidebar to browse and click into the channel where you want to post.

• Make sure the channel allows video posts (some like “Discussion” may not).
  
  
  

  

  
  

Step 2: Use the “Share What’s on Your Mind” Bar

• At the top of the channel, you’ll see a posting bar labeled:
  
  “Share what’s on your mind…”
  
  

• Click into this bar to start writing.

  

  
  

Step 3: Write, Upload, and Publish

• Add a caption or short message — let others know what your video is about.

• Upload your video directly into this bar.
  
  
  

  

• When you’re ready, hit “Publish” - your post is now live in the channel!
